Step-by-Step Hardware and Connection Check (If Casting Fails)
Step 1. Verify signal cable connections
-
Ensure speaker audio cables and bike screen signal cables are not reversed.
Step 2. Check mainboard–screen connection
Connection may be loose or not fully inserted due to assembly issues or transport vibrations.
-
Inspect all connectors between the mainboard and screen:
Ensure connectors are tight and properly seated.
Check for bent or oxidized pins.
Verify there are no reversed connections.
Action: Reconnect cables correctly.
If still not working: Try replacing the cables for testing.
Step 3. Inspect mainboard terminals
-
If screen wiring is correct but there is still no signal, check the mainboard port:
Remove the screws above the flywheel cover and carefully take off the cover to access the internal components.
Look for bent pins, burn marks, or poor contact.
Check for soldering issues, such as cold solder joints, detached pins, or burn damage.
Action: Replace the mainboard if damaged.
Step 4. Check device data in the app
Connect the bike to the YESOULfiteness app and check if the device reports status.
Interpretation:
No data feedback → mainboard may be damaged, replace mainboard.
Data is normal → proceed to next step.
Step 5. Determine if the screen is faulty
If all wiring is correct, the mainboard is functioning, and the app reports normal data, the problem is likely with the screen itself.
