Bike Feels Unstable or Wobbles – How to Fix It
If your exercise bike feels unstable or shakes during use, this is usually caused by an uneven floor or by adjustment parts that have not been fully secured. In most cases, the problem can be solved quickly with simple adjustments.
Tools you may need:
-
13mm adjustable wrench (included in the bike accessory package)
Before starting, we recommend watching the following video guide for a visual demonstration:
How to Adjust Your Bike for Better Stability (Video)
1. Check the Stability of the Bike Base
- Place the bike on a hard and flat surface.
- Avoid using the bike on thick carpets, soft rubber mats, or uneven floors, as these can cause instability.
- Check the adjustable leveling pads under the front and rear stabilizers.
- Rotate the pads until they are firmly in contact with the floor and the bike no longer shakes.
2. Tighten the Adjustment Knobs
- Inspect the adjustment knobs for the seat and handlebars.
- Make sure they are fully tightened and locked into the correct positioning holes.
- Loose knobs can cause noticeable wobbling during riding.
3. Check the Saddle Screws and Knobs
- If the seat wobbles, use a 13mm adjustable wrench to check the screws on the front and rear stabilizer bars and ensure they are fully tightened.
- If the seat moves forward or backward, please tighten the knob located underneath the saddle to lock it securely in place.
- For detailed guidance, you can refer to this video:

4. Perform a Ride Test
- After completing the adjustments, sit on the bike and gently sway left and right.
- Confirm that the bike remains stable and there is no abnormal movement.
