Troubleshooting – iPad Type-C Screen Casting Issues

Issue 1 – Blurry Display When Casting via Type-C

Possible Cause: iPad display settings are not optimized for screen casting.

Solution:

1. On the iPad, go to Settings → Display & Brightness.

2. Enter the Type-C settings.

3. Change the Preferred Display Mode to Standard Dynamic Range (SDR).

Check: Reconnect the iPad and test screen casting.

• If display is clear → Issue resolved

• If problem persists → Proceed to Issue 2

Issue 2 – iPad Screen Casting Not Working Properly

Possible Cause: iPad system version is too low.

Solution:

1. Check the iPad software version in Settings → General → Software Update.

2. If the version is outdated, update the iPad to the latest system version.

Note:

• iPads running iOS 15.5 are prone to this issue.

• Updating the system usually resolves the problem.

Check: Retry screen casting after the update.
