Step 1: Reconnect the Screen Casting Cable
Check the connection status of the casting cable, ensuring both the iOS device port and the screen/bike monitor port are firmly inserted.
Unplug the cable from either end, then reconnect it securely.
This step resolves most issues caused by loose connections or poor contact.
Tip: If you are using a phone case, try removing the case before reconnecting the cable, as some cases can prevent a firm connection.
Step 2: Power Cycle the Device
If reconnecting the cable does not resolve the issue, perform a power cycle on the screen or bike monitor:
Turn off the monitor or bike power.
Wait 10–15 seconds.
Turn the device back on.
Reconnect the casting cable and check whether the display is restored.
Step 3: Test with a Different Phone or Charging Port
If the issue persists after reconnecting the cable and power cycling, try using a different phone with a different charging interface:
If you are using a USB-C iPhone or iPad:
Prepare another device with a Lightning port and use the original screen casting cable to test.If you are using a Lightning iPhone or iPad:
Test with another device that uses a USB-C port.If the second device works correctly:
This indicates that the cable used with your original phone may be faulty and needs to be replaced.
Testing with a different device helps determine whether the issue is caused by the cable or the original device.
Operation Tips:
Ensure all ports are securely connected before powering on to avoid repeated plugging/unplugging that may damage the ports.
There is no need to restart the iOS device itself; focus on the display/screen side.
