Step 1 Resistance Adjustment Guidance
Understand resistance behavior
Due to design and manufacturing tolerances, the resistance display may have a margin of error.
To prevent damage to the resistance sensor, there is some operating space beyond 0–100 resistance, but the displayed value will not change. This is normal.
Rotating the resistance knob
When rotating the knob only half a turn, the resistance value may not change immediately; this is normal.
Rotate the knob further, and the resistance value should change.
The knob can be rotated multiple turns, so you can try again to check for changes.
Step 2 If resistance data does not change
-
When you rotate the knob left or right, do you feel any change in pedal resistance?
If there is no change in actual resistance, the part that may need replacement is the resistance rod.
If the pedal resistance does change, you can try to calibrate the resistance.
For calibration instructions, please refer to the article:
“How to Perform Resistance Calibration on Your Bike.”
If the Issue Still Cannot Be Resolved
Please check the installation of the resistance linkage inside the mainboard cover (see attached picture):
The mainboard is located in the housing above the flywheel;
remove the screws on the upper cover to open it and access the mainboard.-
Inspect the resistance linkage carefully:
If the linkage is loose or has fallen off, reinstall and secure it properly.
Make sure all related parts are firmly connected and positioned correctly.
