Troubleshooting – Casting Not Working on Samsung Devices

Step 1. Confirm phone compatibility

• Ensure your phone supports DisplayPort (DP) output. Phones without DP cannot use the wired projection feature.

Currently known phones without DP:

Samsung:

1. A Series: A23, A25, A35, A36, A42, A50, A55, etc.

2. Z Flip Series: including Flip5, Flip6, Flip7, etc.

Step 2. Check Samsung DEX mode (if applicable)

• On Samsung phones, DEX mode may affect the standard projection signal.

• Open the notification menu and toggle between DEX mode and phone mode.

• After switching, reconnect the wired projection cable and test the display.
