Safety Reminder
Before disassembling the treadmill for inspection, always disconnect the power to ensure safety.
Step 1: Open the Protective Cover
Disconnect the wires connected to the motor.
Unplug the motor cables.
This step may be required to reset the system or check for loose motor connections.
-
Restart the treadmill
After completing the above steps, restart the treadmill and check if it returns to normal operation.
Step 2: Check Home Circuit Overcurrent Protection
the outlet you are using having a power protection device, such as an overload protector. This device limits the current output, while the treadmill motor requires a higher current to start. If the protector’s current limit is too low, it may trip during motor startup.
The treadmill uses a standard 15-amp plug, compatible with most household circuits. However, if the circuit is heavily loaded or the outlet is shared with other high-power devices, the motor’s startup current peak may trigger the circuit breaker.
To help resolve this issue, we recommend the following:
• Connect the treadmill to a dedicated circuit, avoiding sharing the outlet with other high-power devices.
• Avoid using extension cords or power strips, as these may limit the current supply.
• If possible, considering your home’s electrical setup, you may upgrade the protector to a higher current rating, such as a 20-amp circuit, and observe if the issue persists.
Step 3: If Tripping Persists
If the problem continues, contact customer support (support@yesoulfitness.com) to consider replacing the controller.
